Emma Iannacone

Emma was born and raised in the Pocatello/Inkom area. After graduating from Colorado State University, she returned home to join the Local News 8 team in June 2019.

Growing up in Idaho, she spent most of her time in the pool as a member of the local swim team. You might have seen her lifeguarding at the Ross Park Aquatic Center or teaching swim lessons at the Pocatello Community Recreation Center. She graduated from Century High School (go Diamondbacks!), which is where she got her start in journalism at the school newspaper.

At CSU, she worked for the student news station (CTV) as a reporter, anchor, producer and eventually managed the station. She even interned at Local News 8 in the summer of 2018 and is happy to be back.
