Truck Crashes Into Rexburg Church
A pickup truck crashed into an LDS church on Summerwood Drive.
Police found 1990 Ford F-150 at 2 a.m. Tuesday. It was unoccupied, and several containers of alcohol were found inside, they said. The vehicle appeared to have been traveling west on Second North into the Summerwood lot. It left skid marks before jumping the curb and taking out a tree. It then struck the chapel.
The truck was totaled. Police did not immediately say what kind of damage was done to the church.
The registered owner of the truck is Tyson J. Moore. Police said they had been unsuccessful in contacting him. It appeared there could have been a passenger.
