Thrift Store Opens For A Good Cause

Rexburg’s Family Crisis Center continues to help the community by opening a new thrift store.

Workers say they hope the thrift store will provide the center with financial support since it relies on grant money and volunteer work to maintain operations.

The center works to provide support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

“We get donations from the community and we’re hoping the community is going to like it and support it by coming here and seeing all of the things we have and help us keep these services going for the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault,” said Margie Harris, Family Crisis Center Coordinator.

One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to the services the center offers. The Family Crisis Center helps people in Madison, Jefferson, Fremont and Clark counties.
