Shelley Fire Leaves Home Destroyed
Officials are currently investigating a fire that left one Shelley home a total loss.
Shelley Firth Rural Fire District officials say the home was fully engulfed in flames by the time they responded to the call at around 4 a.m.
The residents were out of town the time of the fire and no one was injured. Fire officials say while the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, they have ruled out arson.
Nearby neighbors say parts of the home were over 100 years old.
