Police: Sears Manager Stole From Store

Idaho Falls police arrested a Sears manager they said stole more than $1,000 from the store.

According to an IFPD news release, Lyle Thomas Phillips, 25, stole money from the Sears on 2300 E. 17th St. on two separate occasions, transferring about $1,022 to his personal bank account.

Sears Loss Prevention reported the theft to police March 19, and Philips was arrested Wednesday.

He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail on a warrant for grand theft.
