Pocatello Child Hit By Car
A 3-year-old Pocatello boy was hit by a car Thursday in Ogden.
A woman in her 30s was backing out of a driveway when the rear bumper of her car struck the child, who fell underneath the vehicle, the Ogden Police Department said Friday.
He was taken to McKay-Dee Hospital, then life-flighted to Primary Children?s Hospital in Salt Lake City. The child is in critical condition.
The boy and his mother were visiting relatives. The boy was playing with another child when the accident occurred.
Police are not releasing names at this time, and the investigation is continuing. No one has been cited or arrested in connection to the incident.
