Malta woman dies in rollover crash
A woman from Malta was killed in a rollover accident on Interstate 84 Friday afternoon.
Idaho State Police say 62-year-oldMarlyn Gaskillwas eastbound on I-84 near milepost 223 in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
“Gaskill drove off the left shoulder of the roadway, over-corrected, and lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep overturned in the median” State Police say in a release.
“Marlyn was not properly restrained in her seatbelt, and was partially ejected during the crash. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene.”
Her passenger 18-year-old Trenton Gaskill, also of Malta,was wearing his seatbelt. He was treated and released by medical personnel on location.
The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
