Teen arrested for DUI and felony injury to a child
Idaho Falls Police arrested 19-year-old Steffany Snell for felony injury to a child after her eight-month-old child was found home alone early Sunday morning.
Snell of Idaho Falls was already booked into the Bonneville County Jail after being arrested for driving under the influence earlier. According to reports, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Whittier Circle for a welfare check on a baby. Upon arrival, officers found Snell’s eight-month?old child asleep in his crib. No one was home.
The baby was placed with his grandparents.
Officers learned that Snell had been arrested earlier for DUI by Idaho State Police.
