Power outage in Idaho Falls-Ammon Area
Update 12:50 p.m.: Power has been restored to all customers according to Rocky Mountain Power.
Power was out in the Idaho Falls and Ammon area affecting approximately 1,500 customers.
They said about 30 power poles were damaged from strong winds causing the outage.
The poles are down near the Cannon Dairy outside of Roberts. Crews say it could take a couple of days before they have them all fully repaired. Many farm homes are also affected by this outage.
The power crews are working on rerouting the power to restore electricity.
