Idaho National Laboratory speaks out about diversity

INL is speaking out about the importance of diversity in their hiring process at the labs.

In a letter released earlier this week on social media, the INL let the public know their stance on creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.

“We don’t want any doubts about where the INL stands and frankly what we value and we think that its all good for the community if they understand that your biggest employer this is what we feel is important to maintain a world class facility,” said Juan Alvarez, deputy laboratory director of management, Idaho National Laboratory.

“If they join us they’re going to help us in recruiting and retention and really make it a place where people want to come work here because they’re not being judged for who they are,” said Alvarez.
