Police arrest serial Omni Building trespasser
Update: The Pocatello Police Department has arrested a man they say has repeatedly trespassed at the Omni Building in Pocatello.
Burke Ryan Bailey, 39, was arrested by Pocatello Police for five counts of unlawful entry and one felony count of telephone harassment. Police say while in the Omni building he obtained the number of an employee and was calling that individual repeatedly.
Original story: The Pocatello Police Department confirmed to Local News 8 and KIDK Eyewitness News that it has identified the man captured on surveillance cameras trespassing inside the Omni Building on South 5th Ave on at least four occasions.
Police haven’t released the man’s identity, but say they were able to identify him based on a tip.
The man is accused of illegally entering the Omni Building after hours on July 22 and 29 and Aug 2 and 3.
Police initially said his activities inside the building had led to multiple investigations. Citing an active investigation, they declined to specify what those activities were Friday.
