Jackson and Teton County housing plan to be released
The Jackson Town Council and Teton County Board of Commissioners will jointly release a draft Housing Action Plan August 28.
The plan is a cooperative effort of public and private housing providers to identiy and monitor housing needs. It will help the town and county evaluate the costs and benefits of various housing tools and establish the roles various housing providers will play in meeting the community’s goals.
The plan will be implemented in four distinct chapters, including housing supply, management, zoning, and dedicated funding.
After its release, the plan will be open for a month-long public review and comment period. Several days of public discussion are planned in October before it is officially adopted.
