Climber rescued after Middle Teton fall

A 21-year-old Moran, Wyoming man was rescued from the Middle Teton after a fall Saturday afternoon.

Justin Bodrero fell about 100 feet on a snow field and another 100 feet into a boulder field while descending the mountain. Two Grand Teton National Park rangers were flown to a helicopter landing zone about 200 feet below the incident. They were joined by a third ranger who was already in the area.

Bodrero was treated for his injuries, then taken to Lupine Meadows and transported by ambulance to St. John’s Medical Center.
