Yellowstone road work between South Entrance and West Thumb begins August 22

Yellowstone National Park Officials said to expect delays of up to 30 minutes starting August 22 while contracting crews seal, sweep and stripe the road between South Entrance and West Thumb.

Officials said road work is planned for Tuesday, August 22 through Friday, September 1 including Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.

It will not occur Saturday, September 2 through Monday, September 4 and will resume (as needed) Tuesday, September 5, until the end of the month for sweeping and striping.
