Food for Friends giveaway Week 6

We want to announce our “Food for Friends” winner for Week 6. Joel Watson is our winner this week from our website. He wins a $200 gift card from Albertsons. For every gift card it gives away on our website, Albertsons will match that same amount for a local family in need.

KIDK Eyewitness News 3 gave that gift card away Wednesday too. With the help of Vista Family Services in Idaho Falls, we found Adam. He is a single father with a with a 5-year-old son.

“He’s a really good kid and he’s easy to get along with. He’s my best friend in the whole world, so it’s no problem. Uh, sometimes I have to do things outside his realm, but I have a lot of family that helps me out though, so it’s pretty alright,” said Adam.

“You bet. Support system is pretty good. That’s helpful. Can we help you out today? I want to help you out. What we have done is, we have teamed up with Albertsons. This here, a $200 gift card to Albertsons, just to help things make ends meet,” said KIDK Eyewitness News 3 anchor Todd Kunz.

“That’s heck, cool dude!” said Adam.

“Alright, here you go,” said Kunz handing over the card.

“Amazing dude. I gotta shake your hand,” said Adam.

“We just teamed up with Albertsons. They want to do this. They are just helping those just to give back.”

“My heart is palpitating. This is amazing. Thank you!” said Adam.
