Idaho Falls Zoo Community Appreciation Day August 26

Saturday, August 26 is Community Appreciation Day at the Idaho Falls Zoo.

Admission for the day is only $1 and one can of food per person or $3.50 per person without a canned food item for ages 4 and over. Children ages 3 and under are free.

“Community Appreciation Day is the zoo’s way of thanking the community for all the tremendous support throughout the year while helping out the local food bank,” said executive director David Pennock. “The day is also a great opportunity to see how fast all the zoo babies are growing.”

Zoo hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., daily through September 4, 2017.
