Monsoonal moisture will continue to stream into our area from the south, though the threat has shifted to the north for today, with the Central Mountains and S. Montana being the center of the action. Expect to see near average temperatures in the next couple of afternoons with scattered thunderstorms. Temps in the valley locations then heat back up into the upper 80’s and low 90’s the weekend. Thursday: Slight chance of thunderstorms with highs in the mid 80’s. Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the low 50’s. Friday: Slight chance of thunderstorms with highs in the mid to upper 80’s. Saturday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80’s. Sunday: Sunny and hot with highs into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s for the Snake River Plain.
