E. Elva St./N. Holmes Ave. intersection closure and Idaho Falls ADA improvements

E. Elva Street & N. Holmes Avenue Intersection
TMC Contractors, Inc. will close the southern half of the E. Elva Street & N. Holmes Avenue intersection Saturday, August 26 evening.

The construction zone will be from E. Elva Street to Whittier Street, and the contractor will indicate detours as needed.

The intersection will be reopened Monday, August 28.

ADA Improvements

The City of Idaho Falls Street Division will be installing ADA sidewalk ramps at various locations throughout the city.

Intersection of N. Capital Avenue & “B” Street – three out of the four corners will be upgraded. Intersection of N. Capital Avenue & “D” Street – two western corners will be upgraded. Intersection of Constitution Way & N. Yellowstone Avenue – two eastern corners will be upgraded.

Officials anticipate the project to be completed in mid-September.
