Staying hot thanks to high pressure, but stormy at times thanks to sub-tropical moisture through the Great Basin. Scattered thunderstorms are expected for Wednesday and Thursday, as a weak disturbance moves through, drawing moisture from the south. After this disturbance moves through, a ridge will build back in driving up temperatures into the 90’s by the weekend. Tonight: Lows in the 50’s and mostly clear. Wednesday: Highs in the upper 80’s with chances for T-storms. Thursday: Highs in the upper 80’s and partly sunny with a slight chance for T-Storms. Friday: Sunny, with a high near 85°. Slight risk of thundershowers for the higher elevations.
