Bike rider struck by pickup near Victor

A juvenile bicyclist was hospitalized around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after being struck by a pickup near Victor. Idaho State Police said the bicycle rider was southbound on 2000 West and failed to yield at the intersection with State Highway 31, near milepost 19. A 2014 Ford F-150 driven by Stuart Lange, 66, of Swan Valley was southbound on the highway and struck the bike. The juvenile was transported to Teton Valley Hospital by ground ambulance. The bicyclist was wearing a helmet. His condition was unknown Wednesday morning. Investigation of the crash is continuing.
