DNA testing in Vallow-Daybell case

FREMONT COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE: DNA tests on tools seized from Chad Daybell's property and a blood sample from another scene, are on hold, for now.

Judge Steven Boyce made the ruling during a brief hearing Wednesday afternoon.

You can watch the hearing below.

Prosecutors agreed to halt consumptive testing as they work with the defense on stipulations regarding the evidence.

Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow-Daybell are charged with conspiracy to conceal or destroy evidence, in connection with the deaths of Joshua "JJ" Vallow and Tylee Ryan.

Their bodies were found on Chad's property in Fremont County last summer.

The judge did not set a future hearing date for the dna testing.
