Man ejected in I-15 crash

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK)-An Idaho Falls man was hospitalized after his car crashed into another vehicle on Interstate 15, at milepost 130, south of Roberts.

Idaho State Police said Nestor D. Zamago Avila, 19, was driving southbound in dense fog at around 7:17 a.m. His 2001 Honda Accord approached another vehicle that was driving at a slower speed.

ISP said Avila swerved to the right to pass on the shoulder, swerved to the left, overcorrected, and rolled into the median.

Avila was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was transported by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
