The Nation’s Weather for Friday, November 15, 2019

Flurries and spotty snow will spread into northern New York

and New England tomorrow as a storm system in Canada moves

by to the north. Accumulations across much of the region

will be light, but they can still lead to slippery travel.

Meanwhile, a storm moving through the Deep South will bring

periods of rain to eastern locations, with downpours

expected in southern Georgia and northern Florida. This

feature will usher in more mild air to the region before

producing rough surf and rain along the Atlantic coast into

this weekend. High pressure will build into the Midwest, but

bitterly cold air will be mainly limited to the northern

Great Lakes. Other areas of the Plains will be dry. A system

pushing inland in the Northwest will bring rain showers and

mountain snow, while the Southwest will remain dry.
