The Nation’s Weather for Tuesday, November 19, 2019
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm system that has caused rough surf and beach erosion
along the East coast will continue to track northward into
southeastern Canada tomorrow. Rain, ice and snow will
continue to fall across New England through the day as the
storm departs. Snowfall totals will be light across the
interior, accumulating between a coating to 2 inches for
most. Much of the center of the country will remain dry and
settled tomorrow as high pressure sits comfortably over the
southern Ohio Valley. Above-average temperatures will begin
to build across the Plains as southerly winds draw up warm
and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico. Farther west, a pair
of storm systems tracking into the West Coast will begin to
spread rain to both the Northwest and Southwest. This will
be the first big rainfall across the Southwest in months.
