The Nation’s Weather for Wednesday, November 20, 2019
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm system spanning much of the southwestern United
States will bring welcome rain across the region tomorrow.
This rain will be the first rain some cities have received
in months, so as it comes down, flash flooding may be an
issue for some. Across the higher elevations and mountains
of the Southwest and southern Rockies, accumulating snow
will fall from the same storm system. Farther east across
the Plains into the mid-South, dry and warmer conditions are
expected. Much of the East will also remain dry as a pesky
coastal storm finally lifts off the Canadian coast, giving
way to more settled conditions. Although it will be largely
dry across the Northeast, mostly cloudy skies and cool
conditions will persist.
