The Nation’s Weather for Thursday, November 21, 2019
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A slow-moving storm system over the southwestern United
States will continue to produce flooding rain and
accumulating snow across the region tomorrow. Some of that
rain will track into portions of Texas and Oklahoma later in
the day and into the overnight hours. A separate disturbance
tracking into the Midwest will bring mostly rain across the
Great Lakes, with snow being confined mainly to Minnesota.
An area of high pressure centered over the mid-Atlantic will
promote dry and settled conditions across much of the
eastern United States. With the storm system positioned over
the Southwest tomorrow, higher pressure across the Northwest
will also promote dry and settled weather through the day.
