NATIONAL SUMMARY

A major storm system that dumped more than 2 feet of snow

across portions of the Northeast will track off into the

Atlantic tomorrow. Aside from a few snow showers across the

interior, much of the region will quiet down and get a

chance to shovel out. Much of the Midwest, Ohio Valley, and

southern United States will remain dry and settled as high

pressure sits overhead. A storm system tracking into

California will continue to spread rain across the state and

as the day progresses, wet weather will advance eastward

across the Southwest. A separate, weak storm system will

bring unsettled weather to portions of Washington state. The

rest of the region will remain cool, but dry.
