The Nation’s Weather

The Nation’s Weather for Thursday, December 5, 2019

Brisk and cold conditions will plague the Northeast

tomorrow, and lake-effect snow showers will continue in

parts of New York and Pennsylvania downwind of Lake Erie and

Lake Ontario. Snow showers will also extend into interior

parts of New England, but they are not expected to be as

heavy as in parts of New York. Elsewhere, snow will fall in

the central Rockies as a storm system moves through the Four

Corners region. Snow flurries will dot parts of the northern

Rockies and be accompanied by gusty winds in the northern

Great Lakes region and Upper Midwest. The weather across the

rest of the nation will generally be tranquil and

seasonable, although gusty winds will draw warmer air back

northward into the southern Plains and Deep South.
