The Nation’s Weather for Sunday, December 15, 2019

Snow showers will linger in the Appalachians from West

Virginia to Maine as the cold air works into the area

tomorrow. A potent storm system will enter the Colorado

Rockies and central Plains during the day as snow develops

across the area. The cold air will not be in place for

southern Missouri and Arkansas, as the forecast is calling

for a cold and miserable rain with some snow mixing in the

farther north you go. Light snow showers and flurries will

be in store for the northern Rockies and northern Michigan.

A broad area of high pressure will set up shop off the

Georgia coast, which will lead to dry and clear weather for

much of the Southeast. Temperatures in southern and central

Texas will range between 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit above

normal for this time of the year.
