NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow showers will continue to stream off the eastern Great
Lakes tomorrow as brisk winds chill the Northeast. Dry,
sunny conditions are on tap for the Southeastern states with
high temperatures near seasonable levels in the 50s and 60s.
Rain will fall over southern and eastern Texas as a storm
forms near the coast. A few flurries or sprinkles will sweep
through the northern Plains while much of the balance of the
nation’s midsection remains dry with temperatures trending
upward. A cold storm will dive southward across the West,
bringing accumulating snow from the Cascades and Great Basin
to the Rockies. All rain is in store along the Pacific
Northwest coast, with a mixture of rain and snow expected at
lower elevation interior locations.
