_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

Snow showers will continue to stream off the eastern Great

Lakes tomorrow as brisk winds chill the Northeast. Dry,

sunny conditions are on tap for the Southeastern states with

high temperatures near seasonable levels in the 50s and 60s.

Rain will fall over southern and eastern Texas as a storm

forms near the coast. A few flurries or sprinkles will sweep

through the northern Plains while much of the balance of the

nation’s midsection remains dry with temperatures trending

upward. A cold storm will dive southward across the West,

bringing accumulating snow from the Cascades and Great Basin
