The Nation’s Weather for Saturday, February 29, 2020

A reinforcing wave of cold air will rotate through the

Northeast with snow showers and flurries across the interior

tomorrow. Breezy conditions will make it feel even colder

than the forecast highs in the 20s and 30s. A broad area of

high pressure will keep the Central and Southern states dry

and rather sunny. A southerly breeze will pull mild air into

the North Central states following a cold end to the week. A

storm system is forecast to sweep through the Northwest,

bringing rain showers to the lower elevations and snow to

the mountains. Cool air will spill southward across

California, putting an end to a brief stretch of record

heat. The Four Corners states can expect a dry, mild day.
