The Nation’s Weather for Tuesday, April 7, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

An expansive area of above-average temperatures will

encompass much of the central and eastern United States

tomorrow. Along the northern fringes of the warm and humid

air, showers and thunderstorms are expected to erupt across

portions of the Midwest and Ohio Valley. Some of those

storms could produce strong wind gusts and flash flooding.

Farther south, shower and thunderstorm coverage will be more

scattered in nature across the mid-South and lower

Mississippi River Valley. Aside from a few showers tracking

through the mid-Atlantic, much of the East Coast will remain

dry and seasonably warm. A slow-moving storm system out West

will continue to bring rain and mountain snow, primarily

targeting Southern California and Nevada.
