The Nation’s Weather for Saturday, April 11, 2020

A brewing storm system will develop across the central

Plains tomorrow, leading to a wide variety of adverse

weather. Potentially severe thunderstorms will erupt in the

warm and humid air across the South Central states. Across

the mid-Mississippi Valley and Midwest, showers and a few

rumbles of thunder are expected. As cold air funnels

southward from Canada, accumulating snow will target

portions of the interior Northwest and High Plains. Along

with the snow, windy conditions will develop. The storm

system responsible for bringing wet weather across

California this past week will finally come to an end across

the state, allowing the state to dry out. With the

developing storm system targeting the center of the country,

much of the East Coast will remain dry.
