Magazine Scammer Caught – Again
An Ohio man arrested by Idaho Falls police on burglary charges Tuesday night was also cited for petty theft in a separate incident.
Police said Bryant D. McDaniel, 20, stole prescription medication from a house while selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door.
According to police, an Idaho Falls resident called police Wednesday after buying a magazine subscription from McDaniel. The caller said she was forced into purchasing the subscription and that McDaniel stole several Lorazepam pills from her medicine cabinet while using her bathroom.
McDaniel, who was already in custody on burglary charges, was cited at the Bonneville County Jail.
