Sheriff wants people to come forward with information on missing ISU student

The Bingham County sheriff is again asking the public’s help to find a missing Idaho State University student.

Daniel French Machado, 29, of Alabama, a six-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, has not been in contact with his family since Aug. 4. His silver 2007 Ford Focus was found in Wolverine Canyon near 490 Horse Cave on Sept. 4.

Deputies know of people who were in contact with Machado on Aug. 20, but have not called authorities. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who has had contact of any kind of Machado since he disappeared and has not spoken to by detectives yet to call (208) 785-1234 or 782-3067.
