Police: Man steals more than $2k in items from Home Depot

Police said an Idaho Falls man stole more than $2,400 in property from Home Depot.

Tyler Coon, 23, was arrested on a Bonneville County warrant on charges of burglary and grand theft.

Idaho Falls detectives began investigating Coon in June after the hardware store reported thefts and fraudulent returns of merchandise by Coon between February and June.

Police said Coon would come into Home Depot and return stolen items in exchange for store gift cards.
