Company sends mascot into space
Idaho Falls-based advertisement company Star Moose is getting hits on YouTube after it recorded a video where it sent Car Fax’s Car Fox into space.
In the video of the launch from Lima, Mont., the company placed the stuffed fox on a three-camera rig attached to a weather balloon and launched it.
The balloon rose to just more than 89,000 feet before it popped, sending the fearless fox back to earth, and it was recovered in Hamer, a flight distance of just more than 50 miles.
