Police: Man fights officers at Halloween party

An Idaho Falls man was arrested after an incident on a dance floor early Sunday morning.

Jonathan A. Lew, 24, was arrested on two felony counts of battery on a police officer at the Shilo Inn and Convention Center’s Halloween party.

Police said a Shilo employee reported to them that Lew was assaulting several customers on the dance floor at the Halloween party.

According to a news release, Lew refused to leave, dropped to the floor and began kicking two officers.

Officers were able to detain Lew. He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
