Man arrested in Pocatello armed robbery
Police have arrested a suspect in Tuesday’s armed robbery of the Jet Stop convenience store.
Pocatello police said Friday that Gabe S. Hayden, 36, was arrested at a home the 1300 block of South Fourth.
A search of the home revealed evidence linking Hayden to the robbery, police said. Hayden was brought to the station where he was interviewed and confessed to the crime, according to a news release. He was arrested on a charge of armed robbery and booked into the Bannock County Jail.
In the robbery, police said Hayden arrived at the store around 9:45 p.m., showed the clerk a gun, demanded money, took cash and merchandise, and left on foot .
