Sports Line Male Athlete Of The Year: Damon Dance

Sports Line’s Male Athlete of the Year went to State three times in his senior year. Dance’s final season in High School couldn’t have gone any better.

It started in the fall when Dance led the Snake River football team to a 3A State Football Championship, and beat arch-rival Shelley twice in the same season.

In the winter Dance hit the mats, and wrestled his way to 4th place at the 3A State Wrestling tournament. The Panthers would end up taking home the 3A Team State Wresting Title giving Dance two rings in his senior season.

And in the spring, Dance hit the ball diamond and once again, Snake River made the trip to the 3A State Baseball Tournament.

Now that his high school career is over, Dance will play football at Chadron State.
