Three arrested when officers respond to medical issue

Idaho Falls Police officers arrested three individuals after they responded to a medical emergency issue Monday morning.

Idaho Falls Police arrested 33-year-old Shante M. Davaz for felony possession of a controlled substance on Monday.

Davaz of Terreton was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, officers responded to the Pinecrest Inn, 888 N. Holmes, around 8:53 a.m. for a report of a medical issue. Officers made contact with Davaz, who had active Bonneville County warrants and was in possession of Clonazepam and Oxycodone without a prescription.

Officers also arrested 32-year-old Keith Lowman of Idaho Falls for active Bonneville County warrants and 21-year-old Trevor Loveland of Idaho Falls for resisting and obstructing after he attempted to flee from police upon their arrival.

The medical issue was linked to a 23-year-old Idaho Falls man who was found ill at the scene. He was taken by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center to be treated.
