Two suspects arrested after Wednesday stabbing

Update: Damion Loneman was charged with kidnapping and aggravated battery, Elacia Potter was charged as a principal to kidnapping and a principal to aggravated battery.

The victim was identified as Jeremy Baldwin, he was treated at the Portneuf Medical Center Wednesday for a stab wound on the leg.

Pocatello Police are leading the investigation, as Chubbuck Police and Bannock County Sheriff’s Office assisted the arrest.

Loneman and Potter were arraigned at the Bannock County Courthouse Thursday. But Pocatello Police are still looking for a third suspect, who was believed to be traveling with Loneman and Potter. Their bond was set for $450,000, as they remain incarcerated in the Bannock County Jail. They will be back in court for a preliminary hearing on April 20th.

Original Story: Two suspects have been identified as Elacia Marie Potter, 31, and Damion Ryan Loneman, 32. Both were arrested on charges of aggravated battery.

The two were arrested in the Chubbuck Walmart parking lot, Wednesday night.

Police are also looking for a person of interest.

Several viewers reported to Local News 8/KIDK Eyewitness News that more than 10 police units surrounded a green Dodge Durango in the Walmart parking lot just after 9 p.m. Police took a man and woman into custody, in relation to a stabbing which occurred earlier Wednesday.

Pocatello Police say the victim is in a hospital in fair condition.

More information is expected to be released Thursday morning.
