Victor man sentenced for intent to distribute methamphetamine

A Victor, Idaho man was sentenced to eight years and one month in jail for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Craig Alan Demeulenaere, 62, of Victor was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal in Cheyenne on May 26.

According to the Wyoming U.S. Attorney’s Office, Demeulenaere was arrested in Hillsboro, Oregon for attempting to distribute at least 500 grams of methamphetamine. He received 97 months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment and restitution in the amount of $900.

The case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
