Idaho Falls and St. Clair HOA open new playground

Idaho Falls has opened a new playground park.

In cooperation with the St. Clair Homeowners Association, Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation, and volunteers and children in the St. Clair subdivision the park was constructed on what used to be a city storm retention pond.

The St. Clair subdivision began raising money for the project six years ago. The homeowners association also set aside a share of its dues to help pay for a park.

Ultimately, the association raised $41,000 to purchase playground equipment and fencing around the retention pond.
