Idaho Falls man arrested for sexual exploitation of a child

Investigators with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested an Idaho Falls man on charges of sexual exploitation of a child.

Attorney General Lawrence Wasden announced Tuesday that 40-year-old Chad Bruce Claxton is suspected of possessing child pornography. He has been arrested was booked into the Bonneville County Jail following his arrest.

The ICAC Unit was assisted by the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and the Bonneville County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
