Mars and moon meteorites arrive at Museum of Idaho

The Museum of Idaho Exhibit Space: A Journey to our Future started arriving at the museum Tuesday. A total of five semi loads of objects and artifacts, including meteorites from Mars and the moon, will be unloaded.

One part of the exhibit being unloaded is a cyclotron, which is a centrifuge that will hold three people.

It is powered like a bicycle and is capable of 3G’s.

It will take a little over a week for the exhibit to be assembled, and the museum marketing employee Deborah Chessey says volunteers and staff will be assembling and polishing the exhibition right up to the June 23 opening.
