A Northwest storm system sweeps through Friday with showers and gusty winds. The best chance of rain for the valleys appears to be over night Friday and into Saturday early morning. Warmer weather returns for Fathers Day with temps back into the 80’s. Warm and dry weather continues into next week Friday: Chance of showers/thunderstorms, with highs near 70. Saturday: Partly cloudy with clearing throughout the day, highs into the mid 70’s. Sunday: Mostly sunny, with highs into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. Monday & Tuesday, a slight chance of a thunderstorm in Central Idaho. Partly sunny in the Snake River Plain with highs into the upper 80’s.
