A cold front along with a low pressure system is expected to move in late Friday and Saturday. Friday, look for increasing winds, cloud cover with rain and snow showers later in the day. A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 45 to 55 MPH. Snow levels will start at 7,000 feet Fri morning. Dropping temperatures behind the cold front will rapidly drop snow levels to 4,500 feet by Fri eve. Accumulations of 2-5 inches are expected across the Central Mountains.
Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the mid to upper 30’s.
Friday: Much cooler and mostly cloudy with rain/snow showers. Windy as well in the afternoon with highs only in the 50’s. Snow levels start at 6000 feet, and drop to 4500′ by the afternoon.
Saturday: A few rain showers for the afternoon and evening. Afternoon highs near 50 degrees.
Sunday: A slight chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies, with highs in the upper 50’s. Breezy.
