Five arrested in Bannock County drug investigation

A team of regional narcotics detectives have arrested five people as part of an ongoing drug investigation. Three were arrested shortly after noon Monday at 1415 S. 5th.

Gail Roberta Dopp, 51, was arrested on charges of grand theft, possession of a stolen firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and trafficking in methamphetamine.

Others arrested were David Xavier Marciel, 52, for trafficking methamphetamine and David Terrel Dopp, 51, for possession of methamphetamine.

Two others, Donna Marie Fortner, 41, and William Ray Wegner, 46, were arrested on outstanding warrants at 1011 E. Cedar at approximately the same time Monday.

According to Pocatello Police, detectives from Idaho State Police, the Bear River Task Force, the Bannock County START team and members of the Pocatello Police Department served multiple search warrants Monday as part of the drug investigation.

Additional information was being withheld pending further investigation.
