Police offer active shooter response training

Blackfoot Police are offering training to the community to help people be prepared for an active shooter event.

The “Civilians Response to Active Shooter Events” (CRASE) training provides strategies, guidance and a plan for surviving an active shooter event.

Several Blackfoot Police Department officers have been certified to teach the course.

It is being offered to schools, colleges, businesses, hospitals and places of worship.
